Match Support Specialist (part-time) - Conway, AR 
Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Central Arkansas is currently searching for a part-time Match Support Specialist for the Conway area. This position is responsible for on-going coordination of the mentoring program in Conway. Specific duties include: regular phone or in-person meetings with mentors, mentees, school personnel, and families to ensure child safety and positive youth outcomes; entering match data into the agency database, called AIM; ensuring completion of youth outcome surveys; helping to coordinate match activities for mentors and mentees; other duties as needed. 

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college 
- A high degree of skill with in-person and telephone-based communication
- Solid written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively but also independently
- Must be available to work some weeknight hours. Schedule may include some weekend hours.

Give a BIG year of service to Big Brothers Big Sisters!

Big Brothers Big Sisters has immediate openings for two AmeriCorps VISTA positions that will start in April 2012.  These are full-time service positions that include a living stipend of $858 per month plus an education award of $5,550 or stipend of $1,500 upon completion of the service year.  

Community Engagement VISTA – Faulkner County
Plan and implement a recruitment campaign to grow mentoring matches up to 100 in Faulkner County. Build relationships with colleges, corporations, churches, and community groups. Raise awareness of volunteer opportunities by managing social media and the BBBS website, developing and sending a quarterly e-newsletter, and writing press releases about recruitment needs and volunteer accomplishments. Provide recruitment and enrollment information to potential Bigs.

Community Engagement VISTA – Craighead County
Play a key leadership role in founding a Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Jonesboro. Create a pilot program for 10-15 site-based matches. Develop relationships with schools, community leaders, and organizations. Recruit mentors, recruit mentees, and support matches. Collaborate on a signature fundraiser for Jonesboro.
